My spirit bound to earth
Body a straight jacket
That gets tighter with age
My youth flew with the ether
Those days long past
So I must keep moving
To fill my wanderlust
Or succumb to the gravity
That pulls my leaden limbs

Author: Dancing Echoes

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. A wonderful little poem, and I loved your striking line, “My youth flew with the ether”
