Stuck in the the mud
Hoping that it is just winter
That spring will eventually come
The river will rise
And I will float myself free

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. Sad to see those fish stuck in the muck. Part of the trend in nature. Climate change.

  2. It was sad. And this photo doesn’t show you the extent of the stranding. The beach was covered with these little guys as far as the eye could see. They got stuck on an outgoing tide. This happens every once in a while and I am not sure of the cause. The sea birds were feasting so at least they did not go to waste.
But that massive whale beaching in New Zealand last week was heartbreaking. 😢
