Stuck in the the mud
Hoping that it is just winter
That spring will eventually come
The river will rise
And I will float myself free

Sad to see those fish stuck in the muck. Part of the trend in nature. Climate change.

It was sad. And this photo doesn’t show you the extent of the stranding. The beach was covered with these little guys as far as the eye could see. They got stuck on an outgoing tide. This happens every once in a while and I am not sure of the cause. The sea birds were feasting so at least they did not go to waste.
But that massive whale beaching in New Zealand last week was heartbreaking. 😢

At least food for the birds, but still a shame 😦
