I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 2. I enjoyed the wordplay with resistance as measured in ohms vs. resistance as measured in hours w/o something like ice cream. The image is intriguing and somewhat mysterious. My current guess is that it is a mildly posterized photo of a tartufo that was cracked open and left alone until the ice cream got runny. In the Florida climate, that would not require much resistance.

  3. Thank you Mellow, I just learned a new word “Tartufo!” and now I will be on the look for it as it sounds like it has all of the relevant elements to be considered decadent. The photo is of a chocolate covered cherry with a bite out of it. The cherry and amniotic simple syrup surrounding it spilled out onto the plate for effect. I thought it an appropriate sexual reference as well as a good representation for my inability to resist all things chocolate. And I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this project as after the photo shoot I got to eat the models.
