I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. This is fantastic. Beautiful haiku…so poignant. The picture goes along with it perfectly, too.

Love the photo — and yes — I feel that wanderlust too. Sigh.
BTW — “fire ants” appeared in my reader but not here on your blog. But it was a riot — LOVED it. “The little bastards!” 😀
Funny haiku …. not so funny moment…!

I will post that again soon. I accidentally hit publish and retracted since I am still working on the photo. Thanks for the support though. Your positive critique means I will leave the poem as is.

Geez, I owe you a big apology. I had not seen your posts on my feed for a while and I wondered if you had gone off grid. I was going to do a search when you were kind enough to post comments. I then discovered that for some reason I was no longer following you. I certainly didn’t unfollow on purpose I promise you. Blame it on clumsy fingers.

WP sometimes unfollows us on its own. Christy. No apologies needed. On the flip side, I hope you can enjoy my method of providing multiple posts commenting.
