I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. Not a bad night shot considering it’s on a phone. Liking the 11? I was comparing my Samsung S10 to a friend’s iPhone-11 on the near-full moon Friday night and, yes, the iPhone beats it for clarity by a fair margin.

Great shot for the evening and the poem hits the mark too. 🙂

  3. Yeah. The point and shoot market is pretty much dead because of it, and it’s starting to take a bite out of prosumer level DSLRs and mirrorless.

On the other hand, I’ve kept my old Samsung S5 because the HDR function on it does some interesting things in low light that I can’t reproduce anywhere else. It’s something of a light posterizing filter.

  4. So you keep it just as a camera?

  5. Yep. Haven’t used it much… but only because I don’t have it when I could use it. Need to just carry it around in my backpack.
