I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 2. Me too! I love the combination and am lucky enough to live where the aqua water touches the azure sky.

  3. OK. White sand, heat and surf just got bumped up the to-go list.

And gannets beat gulls any day. =)

  4. Gannets are amazing. Gums HD been following the fishing boat all day and I wasn’t really paying attention. When I realized they were Gannets I flipped out. They were almost out of shot range but I tried anyway and got lucky.

  7. Oh, how you caught the birds in the up and down of their wing sequences is quite suspenseful, Christy. And the haiku perfectly fits.
