I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. I like the way your poem adds a deeper layer of meaning to your photo.

Oh! Wonderful!
<smile> Exposing the real
I suspect you are writing metaphorically (or euphemistically) as much as physically…
… but on the latter side, it was some years ago when I realized ‘weathered’ skin was becoming more attractive than smooth.

Strange how that happens. How the story behind the lines is more intriguing than smooth skin.

<grin< Just knowing there’s a depth of experience…
Innocence, youthful enthusiasm and energy, unexplored potential are wonderful too. But a history of full experience — that is fascinating.
