Beauty like spun glass
Twisted monofilament
Takes no prisoners

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 1. Pretty, but dangerously sharp, reminds me of a girl I once knew. 😊

  5. It is always a joy to see a beautiful closeup of something people are likely to overlook.  From a more common distance, tangled fishline is just a small eyesore to me (or a big hazard to any small critter that might blunder into it).  Yes, it does look like spun glass when seen from a different perspective.
