This year I resolve to shatter
That glass ceiling that is my mind
For beautiful as the glass is
The atmosphere weighs heavily
And is but a sparkly, fragile illusion
Better to let the sharp fragments
Rain their color down upon me
Than to stay below the surface
Wanting to be flying above

the Weekly Photo Challenge: 2017 Favorites
Thank you Olga! While I did have to pull off the composition and shot, the credit really goes to Chihuly for creating such beautiful glass masterpieces.
