In response to Patrick Jennings Pic and a Word Challenge #102: Stars

Author: Dancing Echoes

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 3. Thank you! I had to improvise since I don’t have a good telephoto lens yet.

  5. I am rather glad U don’t *yet* have the good telephoto lens.  Plenty of scientifically informative pix were taken by heliologists.  Your photo rekindles the awe and wonder felt by ordinary folk before eclipses were understood.

Hope U can stay well away from where Irma goes.

  6. Thank you Mellow. You are right, there were plenty of informative pix and other than testing my skill I didn’t see the need and I did like having to think outside the box. Not everything worked out as well as I had hoped but I didn’t get skunked and I learned a lot in 2 minutes, 20 seconds!
I should be well west of Irma but frankly I don’t trust storms or storm tracking so I am keeping a close eye out.
