I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path.     Wow, you persevered and did it with ‘maelstrom’. Wonderful! I was at a loss with this prompt. I kept thinking apocalyptic, but didn’t want to go there. 🙂

    It was a tough one for me too. I had the photo but the words were stuck. I wanted to keep it minimal. Good think about Pic and a Word is that he doesn’t have a real deadline. You can always post when you are ready.
    Apocalyptic is a great word too!
