Beats Stumbling Around in Silence

Pause
To take a look
Deep inside

Sometimes
What seems like the best hiding place
Gives us a false sense of security
When what we are really doing
Is trying to hide from ourselves

Author: Dancing Echoes

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 7. Thanks! Ikr? It’s like hiding in a cave with a sleeping bear -or hiding in a stomach. I tried to ID these little guys and couldn’t. What I do know is that they are actually living in the Pitcher Plant. They are not victims. The only reference I could find was about Flesh Flies. None of the ones I could find looked like these guys but they could be a different species not listed. I found them a bit creepy and I am not easily creeped out.

  8. Oh, right! I remember that… the flies eat the remnants of dead insects or something like that. =) Yah. Only a little creepy.
