Beats Stumbling Around in Silence

Perched atop tree roots
People are oblivious
Thoughts lost in silence

A natural monument
Muted witness to this day

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. A beautiful post. It is a shame that people are so busy now that they often walk along lost in their thoughts, worries and cares, oblivious to the beauty around them. The tree is impressive and deserves to be noticed!

  2. Thank you! Yes it does. You can see that the town has taken great care to keep it alive. Heritage trees are protected here and building has to accommodate them.
