Oh yeah, definitely more Kandinsky with all the straight lines. Pollock was all swirls and long, arcing lines. Compositionally, though, they’re very similar, setting up a field of patterns in which the eye can take a wandering adventure, never coming to rest on a single point or area intended to be the subject.

Kandinsky… and a bit Jackson Pollack too.
Wonderfully insightful frame.
And a potent use of alliterative rhyme/near-rhyme in a haiku.

Thank you Patrick. I will admit I looked at some Pollack too for comparison but my minds eye initially said Kandinsky so I stuck to it.

Nature is my favorite artist. The words and photo capture a moment of art in time that will not be the same an hour later. Beautiful.
