Heart of rugged stone
Ravaged by passage of time
Tears roll down my face

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. Water is the sofest form of destruction; rushing water, standing water, raining water, melting water, and tears that roll down your cheek. ~~dru~~

  3. .I love this. The image is like nothing I’ve seen you post before. Its power is equal to the words.

Great response to the challenge. =)

  4. Thank you Patrick. This is an old photo, probably taken close to 20 years ago now using B&W film. I was standing on the edge of Vernal Falls fighting the urge not to follow the water over the side. Not because I had a death wish but because I wanted to become part of all that beauty and power. I have wanted to do something with that photo for a while.

  9. I think I must have been nearly asleep when I wrote the open ended sentence. Don’t have a clue where I was going either. Thank you for not writing “what?” Smiles and hugs
