Both art and science
Plus a little bit of luck
Makes a good vintage
In response to Sylvain Landry’s SL-WEEK 49: Vintage
Author: Dancing Echoes
I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. Thank you. It is an old photo scanned from a slide, probably circa 1998. I have wanted to use it for some time now.

The beautiful photo provides a good image to associate with a Miles Davis classic [Blue in Green]. The poem is a wise comment on many other pursuits as well as wine making.

A current CDHK challenge asks people to submit a haiku they admire, say why, and submit a new haiku that it is in some way inspired by the admired one. My response [https://mellowcurmudgeon.com/2016/06/28/wine-making-then-buddhism/] to the challenge includes the effect of reblogging this post.
