I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Thank you. It was an older photo from an air show they performed years ago. When your prompt word “Blue” came up I knew I had to do something to honor the pilot that recently crashed. The Blue Angels live and train here and the community considers them one of their own.

Remarkable photograph and tribute, both in words and image. Really lovely on both levels.

Thank you. I was lucky enough to be on a rooftop during that air show and caught them in action.
