The best monuments
Do not represent mankind
They celebrate Mother Earth
Sylvain, my heart goes out to you and your fellow countrymen. Beauty in nature is what helps me cope during such dark man-made atrocities. When will it stop? Maybe this is the last straw? Maybe this is the pivot point for the world to rally together to stop such misguided hate? Sadly I think not, but I have to believe these lives were not lost in vain.

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path.
Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog.

Love Yosemite! One of the prettiest places I’ve ever been. And, yes, I think you’re right, sadly, that this isn’t over.

I have stood not very far from that very spectacular spot. Definitely one of Earth’s greatest shows. And an excellent place to release your woes.
