Where music and movement meld
Into one being
Time stands still in that moment
Of breath and meditation
We all have that moment we are in the “zone” whether it be writing, painting, taking photographs, dancing, playing an instrument, having great sex -doing anything we truly love. Time stands still and we are lost in a happiness beyond our consciousness. It is then that we are truly free.

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path.

For me, I don’t think I can describe that feeling as time standing still… rather, it’s more like becoming time, sort of the way connecting to everything makes it feel like I am everything, all of space — and time. Both infinitesimal and infinite at the same, er, time. 😉

I just found this in my SPAM box and pulled it out. You are definitely NOT SPAM. I love your work! Thank you for the nomination. I am honored. I will try to make good on the nomination but I have to honest that I have fallen short of making good on award nominations. I have very limited time with my work schedule so I spend what little time I have posting and reading those folks I follow and love (you included). So I guess I am asking for patience -or forgiveness if I don’t pay it forward right away. I am grateful.

Hi Christy. Thanks for following me. I feel everything you said about being away with the fairies. I am a writer, and sometimes it’s as if the words come right out of the ends of my fingers. I don’t have to have much to do with it. I imagine dance is the same. (You can’t worry about the price of sausage when you’re away in the clouds. ) Thanks for the blog.
