Stardust and folly
Of which we humans are made
Always the hunter

Trailing scraps where he travels
His faithful dogs to follow

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. 1. In Aus, we call it the pot. Turn it upside down and you will see. We know it’s meant to be Orion, but the poor bugger would always be losing his sword. It’s my favourite constellation as it always marks the return of warm weather for us. It also has some great stars and nebulae contained within it.

  2. That’s right, it would be upside down for you. I’ve only visited the summer hemisphere once and it was only for two weeks -way too short a time to really take it in and it was late May/early June so it was heading into winter. Probably is my favorite constellation too and I do love the nebula in it.

  3. I love it Christy, I’m so easily drawn to all things stars and dust.
