Treachery, lust, power

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. When I was forced to study Latin in ancient times (but not quite so ancient that Latin was still a living language), I strongly disagreed with my school’s fantasy that ancient Rome was generally admirable. The photo and poem capture the reality. Rome’s engineering really was admirable; that’s all.

It was great until they all went nuts from ingesting too much lead. Oh, and the inbreeding didn’t do them any favors either.
