I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. This is Yosemite. I climbed up Vernal Falls and this was the plateau at the top. Vernal Falls is to the left of the frame and you can walk almost to the edge! The fall above in the shot is Nevada Falls. Yosemite is my favorite park other than Point Lobos in Carmel – you can dive and hike in that one.

Thought it looked familiar. Yosemite is one of my favorite places to just be.
Sadly the race in California right now is for a drop rather than a cascade.
