I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Scared witless as in September my youngest flies the nest to uni. Then what ….. I’ll be on my own with hubbs (that’s fine even nice) but his 2 young adults remain …

I wish you and your youngest all the best. Transitions are always tough; even good ones.

Wow, thank you so much. I am honored that you are inspired and think I have something to offer. I’m just trying to find my way, make sense of this crazy world and do my own thing without being too much of an idiot.

Just love your Haiku and the accompanying image is so nice, a great shot you got there. Is the header picture a photo or a painting?

Thank you so much! The header is a photo I took near my yard on a foggy day. I used a Jixpix painter app to soften it and make it more of a surreal-like dream image.

Dreamy it is, smoldering. I wasn’t sure, but you didn’t mention painting in your bio there so I had to ask. I’ve never seen a photo like it, or did I and maybe thought it was a painting? Ah, well, yours is wonderful!
