Author: Dancing Echoes

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path. Awards: While I am grateful and honored for the numerous nominations, I don’t have time to respond to them with the attention they deserve, so for the most part, I am an award free blog. 2. Both are very nice haiku, I had read your second post on this prompt first and than saw that you had another post on this prompt.

  3. Quantum mechanics says the everyday world emerges from a weird tarantella of elementary particles that is extremely hard to visualize. Your photo is as good as it gets. Is it Photoshop artistry based on pix of flames?

  4. Thank you! I have a gas fire pit on my deck that runs through glass rock. I also added a pine cone soaked in salts that creates the blue-turquoise flame. I had to clean it up a bit, but not much. The hardest part was capturing a good flicker. I set the camera to burst and kept the few decent shots that resulted.
