The golden liquid
Burns as it slides down my throat,
Warmth emanating
From my fingertips to toes,
Head light and vision blurry.

I am a scientist by trade and artist by soul. My creative outlet used to be dancing but due to injuries and age, I must now find another path. I am hoping my writing, poetry and photography can be this new path.

No doubt it does feel like that, I took a year to be okay with dropping out for a bit and then not making my re-entry piece a long winded apology. I mean, I dintveven have a job and I STILL find it exhausting! You’re good at it though, Darl, so there’s that.
